The Design
This game-changing foot rasp (aka a foot file) is nothing short of amazing. And we know what you’re thinking, "This looks like a cheese grater." And it is, except it’s for your feet instead of your favorite aged Parmesan (though it could probably work for that too, but we don't recommend it). Made of a largely-surfaced, surgical-grade stainless steel, this is one of those beauty tools you never knew you needed until you start using it. Unlike other foot files on the market, this one can be used on wet or dry feet, depending on the dryness level you’re working with. The result will be soft, crack-free skin you never knew was hiding underneath.
How to Use
As with many beauty tools, there’s a bit of a learning curve with this one. The key is to resist getting carried away and grating off too much skin. Doing so will result in a raw, tender surface that’ll be unbearable to walk on (trust us on this one). Start slow, using a motion like your grating cheese, and most importantly, don’t overwork the area. Newbies may want to space out the grating sessions a few days apart to get used to the intensity. Also, even though this product can be used on dry feet, we recommend using a foot soak 10 minutes before filing—the dead skin will fall off.
